Punch in your break
Anyone who has ever worked in a store, factory, restaurant, etc. knows the feeling that comes with the clicking sound of the punch card in that big green machine at the end of a workday. It's so nice and satisfying! Taking a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, whether at work or in our personal lives, is not always easy. However, these small moments of recovery can have great benefits, both on our physical and mental health. So why not go back to the good old classic break?
The important thing is to plan a moment where we can relax. We all have that "happy place" where we feel good, whether it's in the bath with a candle, in a comfy chair with a book, walking outside in the alley... What's important is to stop and find this "oasis state" as often as possible. This downtime can take a few seconds or minutes, to simply breathe, laugh, do DIY or chat, in order to reset our stress meter to zero.
In order to take at least one break a day, it is helpful to take it at a fairly fixed time or to set a reminder. Because taking time to rest is not a luxury, it's a necessity!
